The fact that their only light at the end of the tunnel is to count on internal development from unproven guys is honestly pretty depressing.
Remember how dominant they seemed during their championship run? That was like just over a year ago
Went under twice against the guy whos attempting the most 3s/gm and didnt get burned
Obviously u dont wanna try it every time but I’ve always felt that the automatic overs are so predictable. Guys would start chasing from behind when screens aren’t even set close to the 3pt line
I’ve hated these plays since Delly injured Korver.
I think if it’s 50/50 you should just also dive to protect yourself.
The problem is when you’re closer to the ball, you have no incentive to dive for it, so now you’re at jeopardy of the other player diving at your legs.
Suggesting that a player making 31M with a player option for 34M be bought out to join a team that he wouldn’t even be eligible to join
Ball knowledge worse than a casual
One issue with playing as a big is that, even if you have a perimeter skillset (like Aaron Gordon does), you become so conditioned to looking for a DHO the second you get the ball that you forget to look at the rim even when left open. Also just less confident with the shot.
Braun and Russ are good players but you just wonder how good the Nuggets offense can be with someone who has above avg efficiency and volume from 3 in that spot.
It’s so noticeable how much of a compromise they’re making with the lack of shooting.
IMO that was an offensive loss for the Warriors down the stretch. Couldn’t take advantage of double teams on Steph because they were playing Jimmy, Draymond & GPII together. Steph was running in circles every possession just to get open.
Thunder offense in OT has been terrible. Shai going 1 on 1 with no plan. Hartenstein missing 3 floaters that Marc Jones said he shoots 82% on, including one that didn’t even touch the rim😂
Boston was favored by 5 today. Surely the home/road difference isn’t 7 points? I wonder how much of it is other factors and what the other factors may be.
