I don't know what it is, but the hard s sounds I hear in my recordings are always prevalent. I have and use a de-ess feature on my audio on audacity. But it seems no matter what de-ess program i use, it still comes out sounding hard. Maybe I just can't fix that issue.

It's been awhile since I've been in front of the camera.

I gotta be honest, I miss the days in the narration community where before a story starts, there would be an opening skit on camera with the creator/other narrators joining. I felt it really brought the community together. But you almost never see that anymore. It's sad really.
