Seventeen Lampasas FFA students traveled to Texas A&M for the Area VII contests this past weekend. While we don’t have any teams advancing to state yet, we are beyond proud of these kids and their hard work this year.

STATE Bound!!! Lampasas FFA Vet Science competed Saturday at Area and will now advance to state contest at Texas A & M on April 30. A special congratulations to Alyssa Foust who was named 2nd high individual out of 112 contestants.

Lampasas FFA Range and Pasture Plant ID team placed 12th at state contest today out of 47 teams. We are incredibly proud of these kids and their dedication to learning about agriculture. Lampasas HS

Advanced animal science students are studying insects and their individual impacts on agriculture, whether beneficial or harmful. Students then chose household items to illustrate common mouth types of insects.Lampasas HS
