Rather liked this running water pavement feature on the New York High Line. (Current conditions excepted, it’s not something that would necessarily transfer well to Glasgow, however…)

Saw this today, its historical impact somewhat reduced by learning that for many years it wasn’t actually the first artificial structure seen by potential immigrants to the USA - instead, that was a huge elephant which housed a cigar shop and a brothel. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elephanti…

This was the magical ‘house in the woods’ that I used to look out for when visiting my aunt in Selkirk in the 70s, and likely set in place some profound personal inclinations. I do hope all the recent publicity leads to a sound future for it.

Went to Elstree today to help document the historic buildings destined for complete demolition. UFO, Holby City, The Power Game, Grange Hill — here are some of the shots of the day…

Still a bit freaked out by this Louis Vuitton promo I saw in New York a couple of weeks ago. Was thinking Matalan in Jamaica St could have a bash at this sort of thing.

'Fantastic Films' March 1980: '2000AD Rules It! British comics: slightly obscure but ahead of their time' (Walt Disney Productions). Picked this up at a New England fleamarket; may be a source of some interest (and/or satisfaction) for Pat Mills
