I have a book hangover after this, I loved it so much. A brilliant, well thought out magic system, beautifully realised characters, and an exciting plot. I also loved the way that the author incorporated real history.

CR. Caius is a fantastic character and I really enjoy the banter between him and his team.

I've discovered Clarice Lispector through X posts and I'm taking my time reading Complete Stories as I want to think about each one and read other people's opinions.
