We're thrilled to have been able to support The Africa Trust through the purchase of water coolers from AquAid Water Coolers. These brilliant fresh drinking water wells are built in areas in Africa where it is needed the most, like in schools and villages.

On 21st July, volunteers from Alpha made the most of an inset day at our local infant school to help with a number of projects on the grounds. They helped clear hedges & remove some old fencing. They even made a new froggy friend, who was relocated to a cooler spot by the pond!

It's #NationalTreeWeek, and what better time to share that we are planting a #woodland! Over the next couple of weeks, the Alpha team will be planting a large number of #oaktrees at a local Site of Special Scientific Interest, to create the 'Alpha Woods': okt.to/pFOE5d

A busy day of #treeplanting yesterday for some of the Alpha Laboratories team! In collaboration with Hampshire County Council, 40 oak #trees were planted at a local Site of Special Scientific Interest, to create the Alpha Woods. With more to be planted next week - keep an eye out for updates!

Last week with a cold -5° start, we successfully finished planting 75 oak #trees at the Alpha woods! In collaboration with the Hampshire Countryside Service and Hampshire County Council, we are really proud to be part of this positive impact on our #planet.

Take a looking at our team planting #trees at the new 'Alpha Woods'! This will have a number of positive #environmental benefits such as improving the area for migrating Brent geese, increasing biodiversity and sequestering over 100,000 Kg of carbon over the next Century.

We take ownership of #sustainability, recognising our #environmental impact and acknowledging that #carbonreduction is vital to our business and for securing a future for all. As part of our environmental efforts, we have installed 10 electric car charging points outside our HQ!

HQ raised bed update: Thanks to the efforts of our #Sustainability Officer Gaby, we now have green beans coming through, along with tomatoes, chard, salad leaves, and the herbs are thriving. Needless to say our local #ecosystem is greatly benefiting from this, as will our team!
