We are very happy that Lion won the 1st place of the 2023 Sustainability Awards of the Universität Bayreuth for his Master Thesis. We are very proud of you, Lion! ubtaktuell.uni-bayreuth.de/en/nachhaltigk…

We are very proud of you, Lion! Two awards (best Master graduate of your class Universität Bayreuth and 1st place of the 2023 Sustainability Awards of the Universität Bayreuth), and now the PhD fellowship (Kekulé fellowship of FCI VCI). That’s incredible!

The RG Marschall arrived SP8 - 2023 in Strasbourg, France ! We are presenting our results as posters and talks! So, if you are interested in new co-catalyst design, photoelectrochemistry on oxides and new insights in titania/titanates, get in touch with us. We are looking for great discussions!

Roland and Julian are attending the nanoGe Conference #MATSUS23 starting tomorrow. They will present our results at the symposium #N2X - Recent advances on nitrogen activation and conversion. So, if you are around nanoGeConferences and interested, say “hi”.

During yesterday’s poster session at the symposium #N2X nanoGeConferences Julian had the chance to present his results on photocatalytic stability of carbon nitride/pyrite composites. It was a really nice atmosphere and thanks to all for the fruitful discussions. #MATSUS2023

Another paper is finally out! Judith´s results on earth-abundant co-catalysts for photocatalytic hydrogen generation can be found here J. Mater. Chem. family: pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…

Very good news! Our results about high-entropy oxides and electrocatalysis were published in Adv. Funct. Mater. (doi.org/10.1002/adfm.2…). Many thanks to our collaborators @MPIEisen . There is also a press release of Universität Bayreuth regarding our paper here: uni-bayreuth.de/en/press-relea…

After a week full of traveling around Japan and excellent scientific meetings with Prof. Kazuhiko Maeda and Prof. Akihiko Kudo, Roland reached his final destination, the #IPS24 at Hiroshima, meeting old and new friends there. EderResearchGroup @marcus_einert Fatwa Firdaus Abdi Sebastian Sprick

Two talks at MRS fall #F24MRS! On Tuesday, 4:15pm at EN01.07.04 Roland will talk about Supply Risk Considerations for PEC Water Splitting Materials and on Thursday, 1:30pm he will present High-Entropy Spinel Ferrites (SF02.10.01). Interested? Come, join and chat. Materials Research Society (MRS)
