I am horrified by how many academics are using AI to summarize research papers and books, not reading them otherwise. Intellectual integrity is meaningful, good-faith engagement with other people's ideas and the experience of learning their ideas on the terms set by the author

joining the party a huge congrats, Paul T. Sloan. I so enjoyed getting to watch this come together and it’s such a model of originality, rigor, and contagious enthusiasm for the work. Looking forward to reading the finished product.
