The 4 games we’ve just gone unbeaten was our longest unbeaten run of the season. We won once.

Season done. What a nothing piss poor season this has been. Hope Conor has more mates we can sign for free in the summer.

Earlier in the season, even if we weren’t winning regularly and the defence was a shambles, I was happy with the football we played the majority of the time. There were signs that Conor could get us going. No longer have that feeling. Poor all round.

Squad needs a massive overhaul in the summer and I don’t see how we’ll have the funds to do it. Cleary won’t demand as high a fee now. Connell and Phillips should probably have been sold a year or two ago. Striker market is fried and we desperately need at least 3.

I think being honest about the squad quality this season falling well short of top 6 is fair enough but to essentially write off next season already is daft from Conor. Scary that he has no belief in the board bringing in players in the summer.
