Having a consistent catalog of meaningful music or videos means having 500+ times where you say
“This is the One!”
And it’s not the one…
and you move on to the next
There is a lot of people that unfortunately won’t ever accomplish anything
They will never make the change and get out of their own way
Don’t be that person
Take on challenges and do things that are difficult
Life will be better that way
It’s a disgrace that the “industry standard” for producers is 3% of a song
Imagine all the incredible music that would be made if producers weren’t getting swallowed by the industry
Don't underestimate making CONTENT
Content has made me one of the most well known producers with zero placements.
I am now friends with huge producers, artists, all because of content.
Even if it doesn't get views, people can still look at it and get an idea of who you are!
Most artists that "Fell off" didn't actually fall off.
They just got stuck in bad deals and couldn't release any music because they didn't recoup the millions of dollars the label gave them so they cut the cord
Artists 99% of the time don't fall off.
They sign deals with (impossible to recoup) advances...
Recouping $1,000,000 advance with 10-15% on the master means you need to get 2.5 BILLION Streams just to break even.
