Hays County has implemented a county wide burn ban effective immediately due to prolonged dry conditions.

Austin Water will perform a prescribed burn on Dec. 12 and possibly Dec. 13, approximately 2 miles south of 6555 RM 967. The public can anticipate smoke being visible at locations along the I-35 corridor between South Austin and Kyle and between Dripping Springs and Wimberley.
