I learned from Nate Silver and Maria Konnikova's podcast that people travel to Las Vegas to play poker, in person, and while sitting at the table, also play an additional unrelated online poker game on their phone. If there is a scale of ADHD, surely that is the top.

What exactly is the point of paying money to have Gemini available in Google Workspace, right here in my Google Sheet, if it cannot edit my Google Sheet for my instructions?

It is imperative that the US does everything in its power to supercharge manufacturing of batteries & solar in the US. This is the future of energy generation, like it or not. And our biggest competitor - China - is absolutely wiping the floor with us. Not doing this literally

Occasional reminder: We could not dream up a better neighbor than Canada if we wanted to. They’re friendly business partners and steadfast allies. Screwing up our relationship with them is an egregious anti-accomplishment.

Windsurf appears to be cooked. Cursor getting a lot of criticism recently. Claude Code is great, but isn't an IDE, an is Anthropic-models-only of course. What is the move today for a well-polished LLM-boosted IDE with multi-brand-model and extensive agent-mode support?

As an introvert here are the ways my wife would know if I’m having an affair: 1. I was going to an event 2. I was going to an even with coworkers 3. I was going to an event with coworkers and I didn’t ask her to come to be my human shield for talking to people

Imagine being Powell right now. Brought inflation down from 9% to 2% while keeping the unemployment rate at 4%. Stocks, Bitcoin, and Gold are all at all time highs. And people are demanding he resign.

Congratulations to dentists of the future. The incredibly dumb timeline we are on is going to pay their mortgages for many more decades.
