Today, I joined my colleagues in announcing a significant investment to Seva Food Bank for a new Meals for Seniors program. I also spoke with the volunteers and the leadership team about the needs of our seniors. We will continue to work hand in hand with our grassroots leaders!

Since 2010, Seva Food Bank has supported Peel residents through the hard work of so many volunteers! I was happy to join colleagues at the announcement of up to $465,841 in federal funding for their project Meals for Seniors which will help vulnerable seniors age at home.

Every senior should be able to age in the homes they built and in the communities that support them. To ensure that seniors here in #Peel Region can age in place Seva Food Bank will receive over $465K from our Age Well At Home initiative for their Meals for Seniors project. 1/2
