One year after having the workshops, I presented the #kTFellows project as part of my master's degree at #PulsHildesheim. In the exhibition room, the results of the workshops were shown on two frames covered with foil, as they had already been exhibited at kuenstlerische_tatsachen 2022.

In May Vanessa Adwoa Amoah Opoku will move to Ulm and start working on an exhibition at the Kunstverein Ulm in collaboration with CataLight Universität Jena. Her artistic practice explores how alliances between art, science, and technology can alter perceptions of the world, reality and our surroundings

Yul Koh has been working as an academic researcher in the field of art history and art studies since 2023 and is writing her PhD on conspiracy theory documentary film. For kT she is working as a curator and will support our artists in the creation of the artworks.

During our residency, you'll have spaces to work and create. Here's our main skylight hall, which is 100+ square meters and will provide enough space for our performing artists or installations during the exhibition 🎨🧎🏽‍♂️‍➡️🕴🏻 For more information, check our website 💻

Our next Team member is Rebecca. She is a multimedia artist based in Vienna, with a background in archaeology and archaeological research. For our residency, she helps us in design, social media, and communication work. Happy to have you 💜

Dr. Andrea Schaffar @SocioKommunik is a communication and social scientist. For kT she is involved in the scientific monitoring of the project. As well as supporting our artists during the residency in their research methods and data collection Glad to have you on board, Andrea!

Today we introduce our first scientific partner in our #Arts&Science Residency 🔬🧬 Prof. Dr Kalina Peneva leads the Peneva Group, a research group of the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Macromolecular Chemistry and the Jena Center of Soft Matter DE (JCSM) of Universität Jena

Enrique Torres is an independent curator skilled in merging the arts and technology. He graduated in Cross-Disciplinary Strategies and initiated the "künstlerische Tatsachen" residency. A program that brings together artists and scientists to develop research-driven artworks.

Thank you all! We have selected our 4 artists out of nearly 120 submissions from 25 Countries, reaching from US, Mexico, Canada, Argentina to Thailand and China. This is a new record for our residency and we are so grateful to receive so much positive feedback from the community!
