Iowans get 60% of their electricity frm wind energy It’s an important tool for America’s energy independence &2 keep Iowans’ utility bills low

Edison Electric Institute estimates that the House bill will cost ratepayers about 60 BILLION DOLLARS. This is just an insane way to do business - to pull the rug out from under investors and screw people on their bills.

We cannot get nuclear or geothermal energy on the grid for at least 5-8 years, optimistically. Only solar and wind are underway currently. Those projects will be cancelled if this bill passes. This is just intentionally making America a country with expensive energy.

With no warning, the Senate has proposed new budget bill language that would increase taxes on domestic energy production. To put it simply: it imposes new taxes that would freeze energy investments, reduce domestic energy production, and drive-up household energy bills. We urge

The latest Senate draft bill will destroy millions of jobs in America and cause immense strategic harm to our country! Utterly insane and destructive. It gives handouts to industries of the past while severely damaging industries of the future.

The only clean energy credit increasing under BBB is for carbon capture, which is also the only one supporting a net energy loss activity as it uses energy and creates none. It's fundamentally at odds with energy dominance.

Where are we getting new electricity? Mostly solar, and with batteries as a buffer. Part of the process to connect a new generation source to the grid is to sign an interconnect agreement with the grid operator. It is a contract signed by company officers. Generators apply for
