It’s so crucial to be able to discern between normal adaptation soreness and injured ouchie. I woke up terribly sore from all the hills and trails around here, but not at all knocking on the door of an injury. So, I pushed through, and did my second fastest 5km in years 💫
Now that I’ve seen it from both the coach and athlete side, I can confirm that there is a lot of truth to this.

My new baby is in transit to her mechanic. I ordered her a Specialized Power Expert saddle, she will steal Bliss’ power pedals. I suppose I should snatch her some bottle cages (maybe some red ones?!?). I’ve got her a stand. What else does my sweetie need?
I have a confession: I checked every night to make sure Bliss wasn’t going out without me. Ya know, trust issues. lol. I wonder if women AirTag their boyfriends too. Giggles.

Yay yay happy massage day. I drop pretty heavy hints for my athletes to schedule massages once in a while, and I like to practice what I preach 💆♀️
