Great send off yesterday for Phil leaving Devon & Cornwall Police after 22yrs.! He had a busy shift to end on, and was committed in the cells till the very last minute with some very challenging detainees!!! Happy Retirement - very well earned. Barnstaple Custody

This week we thanked our outgoing patron, Mr Toby Ashworth, High Sheriff of Cornwall 2023/24. Each year the High Sheriff, the King’s representative on matters of law & order in the county, is asked to serve as our patron. We’re grateful for Andrew’s support during his tenure.

Our patron,High Sheriff of Cornwall Sam Galsworthy,helped deliver welfare boxes to all police sectors across Cornwall Officers often work at incidents for hours,sometimes in remote areas,at night and in all weathers. We hope the contents of the welfare boxes will cheer them up!

It was great for our trustees to meet our new patron today, the new High Sheriff of Cornwall, Geraint Richards High Sheriff of Cornwall , on his first day in office He joined us for a trustees meeting, and heard how we sent a hamper of luxury goods to our 274th recipient of support today

Another luxury hamper sent out to a seriously ill officer in Cornwall. We’re here year round to support officers, staff and volunteers in the county who are seriously injured in the line of duty, or are seriously ill.

Today we sent out a care package to an officer who found themselves in A&E. Luckily there were no serious injuries. 💙
