GDC2024 kicks off! The Global Development Conference 2024 began with a traditional Fijian Kava ceremony, to rhythmic local harmonies and opening remarks by GDN President, Jean-Louis Arcand and Professor Sushil Kumar, Director of Research at The University of the South Pacific.

The Global Development Conference commenced today at our Laucala Campus in Suva, Fiji. After a traditional welcome ceremony, participants attended plenary sessions that discussed climate resilience, environmental policy, governance and implementation. #GDC2024
