This goes for those choosing religion over their Māori whakapapa, there is a way to embrace both your religion and whakapapa they are as important as eachother.

1) New Zealand doesn’t even have a written constitution therefore whatever hate speech you spew can’t be defended under ‘freedom of speech’ 2) Worry about your hairline rather than someone else’s sexual orientation

Eg: Saying Jawsh_685 is an Auckland teen rather than a Sāmoan teen from SA because he’s climbing world stages compared to ethnic teens/people who commit crimes. We love the casual and systemic racism up in hurrrr

Have been seeing korero around moko kanohi and speaking te reo. This saddens me because just being Māori is all the right you need to wear moko kanohi. You don’t need to know te reo so don’t be discouraged if you think so. Ngākau Māori is much more important.
