My experience has taught me that the police cannot be trusted with women’s safety. Since reporting DCI James Mason's behaviour, I have seen first-hand how the police were more interested in protecting themselves than helping me find justice, or protecting other women.

I was the defendant. Falsely accused. Dragged through hell for 7 years before clearing my name. I’ll be outside the Royal Courts on 9 Sept for International #FalselyAccusedDay - because too many are still being crushed by a system that protects itself, not the truth. ✊🏼⚖️

For people as thick as shit: A conviction isn’t proof of guilt when key defence evidence is withheld. How can a jury deliver justice without all the facts?

There’s a dangerous crowd out there, a feral moral mob, that sees only guilt, never nuance. To them, every allegation is truth. Every denial is abuse. Every defence is misogyny. That isn’t justice. It’s fanaticism. #InnocentUntilProvenGuilty
