I finally revisited TÁR, and have now bumped it from a 4.5 to a 5 on Letterboxd. While I’m behind on recent films, I feel good about calling it my favorite film of the decade thus far. It’s certainly in my Top 5.

Christiane F. might be the bleakest drug film I’ve ever seen, which is saying something. It’s very good, but rather tough to watch — especially since the subject is a minor. A stunning restoration of it is currently streaming on the Criterion app. Any fans out there?
