I’ve had a wonderful time so far at Electroceramics for End Users XII (ECEUXII) hearing lots of exciting work going on in the piezoelectrics/ferroelectrics world ⚡️ looking forward to contributing tomorrow morning with a talk on some of the work I’ve been doing on tetragonal tungsten bronzes during my PhD 🧪

Very excited we're able to eventually have an in person get together for ECRs!🥂🎄🧪

Had a great time at the PG Symposium St Andrews School of Chemistry earlier this week speaking about some of the work I’ve been doing during my PhD and hearing about all the other exciting research being done in the department 🧪

Another busy week at the QM-CDT Quirky Quantuplets science conference and winter training school this week and heading to Edinburgh tomorrow for the @SscgR Christmas meeting! What a nice way to finish off the year 🎄

Had a great time earlier this week at UoBChemistry at the @SscgR meetings. It was great to meet all of the ECR community and a pleasure to be involved in the organisation of the first in person ECR meeting along with Javi Castells-Gil Diogo Almeida Dominik Kubicki and Amogh 🎄🧪

After almost 3 years as the student representative for the @SscgR group, my time has come to an end. Had lots of fun and learned a lot in my role and would definitely recommend getting involved in the group. Happy to chat if anyone’s thinking about applying and has questions 🧪
