Uhhhhh…so o3-pro is really really good. I’m brainstorming some scenes for a narrative game and these are so far beyond what any other model has ever produced…

GPT-5 requires a different way of prompting. It's much more susceptible to instruction, especially style and tone, and it does better when provided with reasoning, validation, and planning sections. I wrote a guide based on my few weeks of usage on how you should prompt it. 👇

I wrote a wrapper script for codex-cli that you can run to have it auto-upgrade your codebase to use the new Responses API (especially important for reasoning with GPT-5) (🔗 in 🧶)

Next 16 uses a new .next/dev subdirectory so that you can run next dev and next build side-by-side without conflicts. This helps when you're running Claude Code, Cursor Agent, or Codex when it wants to run `next build` to verify changes it no longer breaks your development

We’re excited to launch the Codex app, a command center for building with agents. It gives you a focused space to manage multiple agents at once, run work in parallel, and collaborate with agents over long-running tasks. openai.com/codex

Weekend project - cron job to screenshot my laptop every five seconds, then use a codex automation to take notes and eventually create skills for my repetitive tasks.
