My husband gave a presentation on bicycles to my daughter’s preschool for their unit on “spinning”. Many great questions were asked, such as: “I have a scooter; it is red.” Future academic right there, folks. Let’s just preemptively tenure that kid.

I spend so much time with my machine learning class, teaching them the difference about using models for inference versus using them for prediction… And then I have to go and tell them that people in machine learning use the word inference to mean make a prediction.😭
