If your indie hacker journey is just beginning, I encourage you to join the #buildinpublic community There are many kind people here willing to help you, vote for you and share advice P.S. Thanks to Matt, Alexander Chen, Kaustubh Katdare, leo, Manoj R, Miguel Sarenas,

Another valuable feature of the #buildinpublic community People here share real problems that can inspire others to start creating solutions that people really need Instead of sucking the idea out of their own heads 🦄

Yesterday started a new experiment within the #buildinpublic community How many people can I get interested in my new idea and add to a waitlist using only free channels for two weeks? Will try to share all the successes and failures here Stay tuned

I've started reading indie hacker blogs To my surprise, they can be more valuable than most business books I've already read the Marc Lou and Luca Restagno 🐢 shipped.club blogs Guys and girls of #buildinpublic, whose blog do you recommend reading next?

When I created xPromo, I thought it would only be of interest to digital product developers But I was wrong I already have many people from offline businesses on the waitlist, like a compressor manufacturer or a seller of premium kitchen faucets It's something to think about

It's cool when you show a product rather than talk about it But make UX as user-friendly as possible In my case, the suggestions help to fill out the form and try the demo in one click #buildinpublic

Don't rely on just one analytics system Real case Yesterday my analytics showed that I got 20 conversions, but my database shows 24 The difference is about 17% Significant number, especially for indie developers So double-check your numbers before making conclusions

Optimizing the tools for your AI agent may take more time than optimizing the overall prompt Thanks to Anthropic for this and other tips mentioned in their article on agents building anthropic.com/research/build…

Many years ago, I participated in a startup incubator where we had weekly sessions with mentors Today, I use LLM for this, and it provides more criticism and advice than real people And AI doesn't ask for a share in your company in exchange for its help 😀
