All the talk of officiating last night. Today’s game starts with a big foul on DJ Burns because he was running alongside Braden Smith, who grabbed Burns’ arm and then fell down. Great call.

This is the other part that cracks me up about the illegal screen call on Friday. 90% of the people commenting wouldn’t have even known what they missed if it hadn’t been called. Friday was a screen leading to nothing.

Jason Smith is a USAC guy through and through, and I’m glad he’s been on our team & supporting every single discipline under the USAC umbrella. I won’t say how old I was when Smitty started at USAC, but I’m glad he’s sticking around & helping to lead us into the future. #team

Tomorrow is a big one for our sprint car guys. Back in action in the Midwest, and all to honor a true Burg guy. Thanks to everybody down that way, JO’s family & friends, the Burg safety crew bunch & the new guy at the speedway, Shane McHenry for making this happen.

I just don’t understand how NBA NBA TV can black out road fans of a playoff game! That’s absolutely wild. Poor Pacers fans just continually get punched in the gut.

I thought it better to watch this one alone, so I’ll be doing that the first chance I get. I have no doubt the Flo crew assembled an incredible piece to capture Bryan’s incredible life. Make sure to check it out when you can…

One of the nicest guys I’ve worked with & someone I considered a friend over our years in the trenches together. Will miss his positive, upbeat influence in all situations.

RIP to 2000 Kokomo Speedway champ Tony Jarrett. In 22 USAC starts in his own #29, he finished a best of 2nd three times (Paragon 1996 x2 & Bloomington 1997). Perhaps his top racing moment came when his son Logan Jarrett won with USAC in 2015 at Lawrenceburg. Farewell, Tony.

Thank you to @Shane_McHenry & his staff at The Burg (Lawrenceburg Speedway) for making it happen tonight. People are quick to disparage when things go wrong, but are too quiet on nights like tonight. Two great feature events on a great track done by about 8:30, just before the monsoon hit.

Always think about BC & Waylon on June 15th. Hard to believe it’s been 19 years since we were counting down to this birthday so he could run USAC at Lima. Lots of wins & great nights along the way. Tonight was a good way to spend June 15th, at Port Royal with an all-time finish.
