This will be excellent. Also feeds in to the annual conference theme of C20 cathedrals. Limited numbers on the tour so worth booking early.

Yesterday I was grateful to give evidence about palliative care (wrt the assisted dying Bill) at an event in Parliament. This is what I said 🧵

I visited Amsterdam, Gouda & Haarlem over Easter to look at stained glass. Starting to process the 1000s of photos I took. Here are Philip II of Spain & Mary Tudor in adoration of the Last Supper at Sint Janskerk, Gouda. Made by Dirck Crabeth 1557-9. Phenomenal skill.

For the mover of a bill to present such a huge number of amendments to their *own* bill suggests a serious lack of confidence in its safety and rigour. In 20 years I’ve not seen anything so shambolic. Even supporters of the bill must surely see that the bill can’t pass like this.

The choice of background music is unfortunate, but the content itself is utterly shocking - a consistently disingenuous and dishonest presentation by the Bill's sponsor and supporters. This Bill simply must fail.
