The F2 children have taken their shadow learning outside today. We drew around our shadows this morning and then stood in the same spot this afternoon to see how it had moved!

F2 have been learning the nursery rhyme ‘London Bridge’ this week. We have enjoyed trying to build our own London bridges 🌁

Kasbina attends our crochet club every week and has taken to it like a pro! Her handmade bag and hat is the talk of the staffroom (we all want them!)

It’s no secret that we love a boogie in Year 1 so Drumba was right up our street, we loved it! 🥁

The F2 children have enjoyed some den building outside this morning. We have reviewed and improved our dens to make them as strong as possible!

Lots of fun in the sun today in Year 1! We’ve been investigating waterproof materials, finding our Harder to Read and Spell words and spotting the difference between ‘b’ ‘p’ ‘d’! ☀️

The F2 children were eager to continue their shadow work this week. We took the coloured shapes outside to see what shadows they would make!

In F2 this week we are looking at positional language. The children have continue their learning outside by moving the bear! 🧸

In F2 we have been talking about our family and wider family. We thought about their role in society and how this changes from their role at home!
