People who do not worship money or materialism or get impressed by them, are the hardest to manipulate, control or deceive. They are the most clear sighted and respectable of people.

Effort compounds into competence, distractions and laziness, just as much. At some point, it gets really hard to help yourself or to get help from the more competent. They know it will take so much work; the issues have compounded so much, they might as well let them kill you.
