Progress for one person over easter may have been saying no to a takeaway. For another it might of been not eating the whole easter egg, knowing they can come back to it on Monday. Progress for another may have been eating the whole egg and some more and enjoying it guilt free.

You may have heard Gary Murphy on the radio over the past few days raising the case of his son Darragh, who still can't secure a place in secondary education. We fully support Gary and Alison in seeking a resolution, let's hope common sense can prevail. irishexaminer.com/news/munster/a…

If u are consistent with ur weight loss goal Mon-Thur, that is only 57% of the week. Fri-Sun accounts for 43% of ur weight loss journey. If u want to have a few drinks and/or takeaway at the weekend, u can try fit these in to ur weekly calorie intake. Prioritize & plan ahead.

One of the main factors to successful weight loss is the ability to adhere to the calorie deficit. Factors that may improve adherence include: 1. Minimize hunger. 2. Good social support around you. 3. Easily adapts/fits into your lifestyle. 4. Including foods you enjoy.

If you are struggling to gain weight, some ideas which might help include: 1.Drinking liquid calories like fruit smoothies ect. 2. Consuming energy dense foods like nut butters for example. 3. Consuming highly palatable foods to increase the amount of food you eat.

False: It can take anywhere between 18-254 days approximately with it taking 66 days on average. Interestingly missing one opportunity to perform the behaviour did not materially affect habit formation.

To lose 1lb of fat a week you need to be in a 3500kcal deficit To burn 3500Kcals per week from exercise would require: If you burned 350kcals in a 1hr gym session, you would need to do 10 gym sessions a week. If you burned 435kcals doing a 6km run, you'd need to 8 runs a week.

Kevin Fulignati (@kfulignati) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Ten gym sessions or eight 6km runs a week would be hard to do and maintain This is why focusing on exercise alone for fat loss is not optimal A combination of diet (putting yourself in a calorie deficit) and exercise (gym, running or whatever you like) is a much better strategy

Tip to improve ur relationship with food on weekends Avoid the last supper mentality Avoid eating like its the last time you are ever going to eat them (takeaway/sweets) Its not going to be the last time u have a takeaway so just enjoy it until u are comfortably full/satisfied

One good meal won't make you healthy, equally one bad meal won't make you unhealthy. You wouldn't expect one healthy meal every so often as part of a poor diet to make you healthy Similarly one bad meal every so often as part of an overall healthy diet won't make you unhealthy.

What a job Frank Lampard is doing up there, by the way. Took over with the club 16th, 5 points off the drop zone and has taken them all the way to 16th, 4 points off the drop zone. 👏

I’m just on my way to the Áras to meet the President. It’s been the honour of a lifetime to serve you as Taoiseach. Looking forward to the second phase of this Government. We’ve done a lot, and we’ve still lots to do.
