This week, toxic wildfire smoke blanketed NYS from Brooklyn to Buffalo. This terrifying air quality crisis is a sign of what’s to come if we don’t take action. I’m proud to support NY Renews’ #ClimateJobsJustice package to fight the climate crisis & protect our communities.

My district is 76% renters. I ran for office because of my experience as a tenant, and because I knew my neighbors shared my experience. I wish more of my colleagues understood the fear and anxiety when the whims of an invisible landlord determine whether or not you have a home.
