I just realized I forgot to mention how much the writing on this pretty bitter🫀𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐑 𝐈𝐒 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐍𝐎𝐖🫀 album reminds me of Neil Finn's work on the first 3 Crowded House records. Songs that create entire universes for you to live in for 3-4 minutes at a time. Really beautiful work here.

Gonna be just a WEE bit longer (have to get the new test press) but by the end of the year The Lake can be yours on vinyl if you're the kinda of person that enjoys that sort of thing.

We were pretty critical of this one, but considering I have listened to the album(s), on average, 1.5 times a day for the past few weeks and continue to do so, its a pretty easy recommend.

Nothing new for Bandcamp Friday, but you WILL be able to own The Lake on vinyl by December should you choose to do so.
