2023 Senior Spotlight: Jakie sold snacks at MHS; MHS mail sort; delivered coffee/tea to staff; folded pizza boxes at LaRosa’s pizza; assembled boxes at McAlister’s Deli; volunteered at Matthew 25 Ministries; & dishwasher at Skyline Chili. Jakie will be attending HCESC Pathways.

2023 Senior Spotlight: Vinny had work experiences at the Mason Community Center; McAlister’s Deli; PAES lab; Marriott; Springdale Cleaners; M25M; sold snacks for the MHS snack cart; and assisted cafeteria staff with lunch prep. Vinny will be attending WCESC TLC next school year.

2024 Senior Spotlight: Malia’s favorite experience has been Cincy Sammys where she loves folding boxes and stamping bags for the owner, Jess, who makes sure that Malia knows her work is valued and important. 🍪

2024 Senior Spotlight: Thea had many work experiences and always excelled at completing them. She especially enjoyed her weekly experience at the UC CEES program this school year. Thea is moving and will be participating in Butler Tech’s Project Life Program. Congratulations!

2024 Senior Highlight: MHS loves to see Jada’s smile when she is delivering coffee & tea to staff. Her experiences have also included Lifetime Fitness, McAlister’s Deli, & Kidd Coffee. Congratulations!

2024 Senior Spotlight: Ella has folded towels at Lifetime Fitness, volunteered at M25M, assembled bags at Redsfest, assembled boxes at Harness Health & catering boxes at McAlister’s. She also helped with the snack carts and made important deliveries around MHS. Congrats Ella!!

2024 Senior Spotlight: Nathan loves independently returning the snack cart to the Work Study room. His experiences have included Life Time Fitness, M25M, Kidd Coffee, McAlisters Deli and MECC. Nathan will be attending the WCESC Transition Living Classroom next school year.

2024 Senior Spotlight: Ben has an important job of delivering coffee every morning to one of our teachers. He also sets up his class snack cart and sells snacks in the hallway with his class; delivers mail and packages to staff; & volunteered at M25M too. Congratulations Ben!

2024 Senior Spotlight: Will has had many work experiences during his time at MHS! Staff coffee/ tea delivery, Snack Cart, M25M, McAlister’s, Dominos, Lifetime Fitness, MECC & MI Kitchen, & Harness Health. Will is going to HCESC Pathways program next school year. Congrats Will!

2024 Senior Spotlight: Jenna made great progress during her time in MHS Work Study! Her experiences included cofee/tea delivery, Work Study peer coach, McAlister’s Deli, & MECC Food & Nutrition. Jenna will be an intern at the WCCC Otterbein Project Search starting in August.

2024 Senior Spotlight: Evan assisted with MHS mail delivery and participated in the WCESC PAES Lab. Evan worked at MECC with Food & Nutrition and the drive thru at Wendy’s. He’s worked at KI through WCBDD for 3 summers! Evan is going to attend Great Oaks Career X program.

2024 Senior Spotlight: Google has had a very important job as a Service Dog keeping his girl safe and happy throughout most of her school years. Google’s favorite job was being the Brewhaus Dog Bone taste tester 🦴. Thank you Google for your service and being such a good boy!

2025 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Mary has had several work experiences throughout high school including MHS mail delivery, Summer Experience at Mason Community Center, games at Kings Island, & Wendy’s (her favorite). Mary will be attending Career X in August. Congratulations Mary!

2025 Senior Spotlight: Abby packed cold lunches at MECC , assisted with MHS coffee set up, and worked in the Cosmic Cafe. She especially enjoyed helping in the Specialized classrooms. Abby will be attending Wright State and plans on majoring in Special Education. Way to go Abby!

2025 Senior Spotlight: Jason was a big help with the MHS mail & printer toner replacement service. He is currently employed at Kroger and will be attending Xavier University in August majoring in Business. Congrats Jason!

2025 Senior Spotlight: Josh had many experiences over his 4 years at MHS! His favorite jobs were McAlister’s and MCS Transportation Department. Josh will be attending Pathways to Employment program at Scarlet Oaks in August. Congratulations Josh!
