Day 2 of #100DaysOfCode It's considered basic programming, nothing to write home about and it took me longer than it should have to make it. But it's a step nevertheless. and I'm happy with my little life counter. Just press on "Run" repl.it/@KennethKead/L…

Day 3 of #100DaysOfCode Today's project was a "choose your own adventure" style game. I present to you Treasure Island 2077. repl.it/@KennethKead/W… #CDProjektRed If you need help, I'm ready. #CodeNewbies

Days 5 and 6 of #100DaysOfCode done! Angela Yu For the day 6 final project, my Hurdle4 coding worked perfectly for the Escaping the maze final project, without needing any changes!! I was shocked. Thanks for your courses btw!

I do hope it is time to take a global approach for a global pandemic and stop the nationalism and hatred. It is not the scientists or nations fault if viruses move from animals to humans or if they evolve. Global solidarity for a global problem.

Two weeks ago we were in 200-300 cases a day, a week ago in the 1000s and now > 15,000. In addition 1 of 4 tests are positive in South Africa. Amazing increasing of #OmicronVarient

In case you're wondering what #Omicron looks like - Say hello to our new friend in the P3. Isolated from one of the first cases in #Switzerland. Now working hard to have some data soon - Thanks to Meriem Bekliz, PhD & the whole Geneva Centre for Emerging Viral Diseases team! @Hopitaux_unige Université de Genève MIMOL_UNIGE #COVID19

The #OmicronVariant was identified less than a month ago and we have been working with scientists @Hopitaux_unige & others to understand how existing #rapidtests fare in detecting it. Studies are ongoing, but here’s the preprint with our latest data: bit.ly/3JaDXRW

Really critical findings that urgently need further investigation, especially in light of changes to isolation protocols. Analytical sensitivity of seven SARS-CoV-2 antigen-detecting rapid tests for Omicron variant medrxiv.org/content/10.110…

#Breakthrough infections do not mean #vaccines don’t work. Keep in mind that vaccines are preventives, not cures. As long as that vaccine is preventing you from facing severe disease, it is working and doing what it was designed to do. #COVID19 #SARSCoV2 #Omicron #SARS_CoV_2
