Another amazing week at Kemp Mill! Our MANNA Food Pantry was a complete success! We served over 89 of our highest need families, registered parents for our parent nutrition class, held our adult ELD class WheatonLibrary/Rec. & said Adios to our fabulous Special Ed. Lead, Mr. Diaz😢

Yesterday we began our composting program, and had our amazing Restorative Justice training. Juntos Podemos, Together We Can!

This morning we had an amazing Coffee with the Prinicipal. We discussed absences and volunteering. In the afternoon, we said bye to our favorite Special Ed. teacher, Mr. Diaz. Juntos Podemos, Together We Can!

We welcomed the Alpha Phi Alpha’s from Howard University to Kemp Mill this afternoon. Plans for career day, mentorships and a Howard University tour are all in the works. Juntos Podemos, Together We Can!

Monday, we had an amazing Operations meeting, a lesson on recycling during lunch and ended the day with our Attendance/Wellness meeting. Juntos Podemos, Together We Can!
