So it appears we will be moving to full online learning to start the school year. If you want students and staff to return in person full time, there’s one thing you can do to help and it’s so simple: Wear. Your. Damn. Mask.

For anyone angry about school districts going fully online to at least start the year, make sure you direct your anger in the right direction. Direct it at a government that didn’t respond to this properly and all of us who aren’t doing what we need to do to protect each other.

You know how Iron Man has Jarvis, the AI who assists him and generally tells him what to do? I want my AI to be Dan Rather.

Imagine if Florida (and every state) took the money spent on standardized testing & allocated it for what is truly needed? Imagine more nurses/guidance counselors. Imagine more technology for Ss & families. Imagine a system where testing didn’t linger over everyone’s head.

If we weren’t already doing “school” the way we have been doing it, would we start it that way? Great feed on why the answer is “no way”.
