So, last week I met with the funeral directors to make provisional arrangements for my soon-to-be-born daughter. Yeah, it's been a tough few months to say the least, and it ain't over yet. I think it makes you realise more what is important in life, and what really matters.

I imagine that Jimmy Kimmel might agree with this Private Eye piece. There's an irony that his show was pulled over comments relating to the death of Charlie Kirk, a person who strongly believed in the right to free speech. So much for the USA having the first amendment.

It's noticeable how certain individuals who are normally rather vocal have been seemingly quiet on this. They can't even claim that it's "the left" reporting on this criticism of the Israeli government inviting Yaxley-Lennon, given its The Mail.

Despite the rhetoric at the time, it transpires Reform's 'DOGE' team have failed to find savings in a council which they now run. It looks like a potential +5% increase is on it's way to residents in Kent next April. I wonder how their MPs will try to spin this one?

So, tomorrow marks the start of Baby Loss Awareness Week. There's a possibility of my daughter's birth being brought forward. I'm hoping only by a week at most, else she may be born and also die in that week.
