Minnesota recently announced a $5B looming deficit after a Walz led Democrats trifecta spending spree that increased state spending 38% in one biennium.

This isn’t true, we always adopt temporary rules on the first day of session. One legislature can’t bind the next, I think I’ve read that somewhere, lol.

That’s not what the statute says, without the resolution Walz would’ve had to wait 22 days after the start of the session, with the resolution he can issue within 5 days of the resolution. They have actually allowed him to call it at least 2 weeks earlier.

This is a tactical error. Explain to me why it’s more important to have walz acknowledge the house is organized than stretch the election out as late as you’re allowed. It doesn’t matter at all if the governor believes the house is or isn’t duly organized.

As the news continues to unfold in Minnesota about the targeted overnight attacks on Minnesota legislators, I ask everyone to remember the incredible personal sacrifice that every elected official makes to serve their constituents. Please pray for all involved.
