Camping this weekend at Wilderness State Park. Here is the sunset from our campsite that we were lucky enough to get 6 months ago! I am hoping for an aurora show as well.

G3 met overnight due to nearby CME and CH HSS influences. We still anticipate the arrival of the 5 Nov CME tonight, 6 Nov, and the G3 Watch is still in effect through 7 Nov

G3 conditions are currently being observed. G4 conditions with a chance for higher levels remain possible throughout the day as another CME is expected to arrive midday (EST).

Final CME arrived & passing over Earth now. Conditions generally weakening, but variable. Strong solar wind speed and periods of favorable magnetic field orientation are driving up geomagnetic storms to G1-G3; with G4 still possible tonight. Stay aware at spaceweather.gov
