There’s a growing international consensus that action must be taken to end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. This is why I have joined over 200 legislators from 13 of Israel’s top military partners to call for an immediate arms embargo.

The mask has really dropped now, if there were any doubt who the real extremists are, it is #Sunak's government - threatening to take visas off protesters and stirring up anti-Muslim hate.

To tackle hatred, leaders must be willing to call it out. The PM refused this week to condemn Lee Anderson and Suella Braverman's comments as Islamaphobic. Peaceful protest is at the heart of our democracy. We will always resist attempts to curtail those fundamental freedoms.

BREAKING NEWS: This afternoon a shell struck a shed next to the main entrance of Al-Emirati hospital in Rafah, Gaza. The strike killed and injured several people, including a member of an ambulance crew, while terrifying patients who were nearby the explosion.

£5bn of *further* cuts to public spending would be devastating. Labour has to be clear: they will not implement these cuts. Either break/change the "fiscal rule", or raise taxes on the richest. Or both. This is a bare minimum. Hard to justify Labour vote without it.
