Marathon weekend.

The Berlin Marathon was incredible.

The Berlin Marathon was special. I enjoyed every step of this 26.2 mile journey.

I was today years old when I found out that Roger Maris is not in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Yesterday, someone was blocking our driveway so I took my wife’s car fishing. Today, her car smells horrible. She doesn’t know about the repulsive odor of dead squid & decaying crabs coming from her car. What should I do?

This Sunday is FRIEND DAY at Victory Baptist Church. I am so proud of our church family as many guests have been invited. Please pray with us that those that don’t know the Lord would by faith believe in Jesus and receive the gift of salvation.

Thankful for a special “Friend Day.” God was so gracious to use our church to bring people to Him. We saw many guests and several people saved. We also had a sweet time of prayer for Kaylee as she heads to Bolivia this week.

Tomorrow at 11:10 am I will be having back surgery. I am grateful for the many people who have been praying for me. Thankful for the sovereignty of our Lord.

Thanks for your prayers. Surgery went well. Prayers were answered.

My favorite memory from the hospital this week was watching the ⁦U.S. Soccer Men's National Team⁩ defeat Iran just moments before I was wheeled back for surgery. Looking forward to cheering #USA this morning from home. #USMNT

Today I had strength to preach. I’m so grateful for God’s healing on my body. Physical therapy starts tomorrow. I’m so thankful for a loving church family who has been so patient with my recovery. I’m so thankful for a doctor who instructed me to only wear “stretchy pants”. 😀

Yesterday the Victory Baptist Church celebrated our 13 year anniversary. God has been so good to us. We put together a short video with a few testimonies celebrating the goodness of God. May Jesus be glorified. youtu.be/p0DeZaeljPM
