๐ Highly collaborative paper Kaverina Lab Maggie Fye "Genome-wide CRISPR screen identified a role for commander complex mediated ITGB1 recycling in basal insulin secretion" in Molecular Metabolism tinyurl.com/y7wdkyuh

High-throughput methods for analyzing single-cell secretion in beta cells did not exist, which prevented the application of CRISPR to study insulin secretion. Two groups from Vanderbilt Molecular Physiology & Biophysics and Vanderbilt Cell and Developmental Biology have now fixed this issue. Kaverina Lab medschool.vanderbilt.edu/basic-sciencesโฆ
