HUGE breakthrough today with starting our automation journey on our stores hand held terminals. So many obstacles we've overcome to get the apps on the android device to even be recognised! Today we were able to create a very basic test! Best way to start my long weekend 🎉

Feeling proud 😌. I finally got my assertion to work. Sent it to my mentor who said "you're 90% there". So after a painful (for him) back and forward on slack, I finally sorted it without him 'telling me' what is should be 😁 and then did the next one on my own #remotelearning

18 months ago I started on my automation/coding journey. I got promoted to SDET last month 😊 Then today, I helped my new team mate finish their set up of everything for our project. Then helped him create his first branch and write his first test. It passed! Super proud 🥰
