as Cuomo's candidacy becomes more and more hopeless, you will see a lot of centrist Dems suddenly softening on Mamdani. They will assume that if they can worm their way into his orbit and pretend to be friendly they can manipulate him.

Everything depends on whether Mamdani understands in his bones that he is fighting a class war, that these people are his enemies, and that they must be defeated. I think he understands. I hope so.
