To keep up to date with what's going on in social media I could try to look at my twitter account everyday or as often as possible. #PUNC19

I found it really interesting to read that many students don't consider how posting one photo could affect their whole future and getting a job, moreover how many of them weren't concerned/convinced that it would!

It allows us to share research and our work for us student nurses and other members of the public to learn about these things. Furthermore it allows us to get use to and good at using technology as this is the future of nursing. #PUNC19

It allows them to see how nursing and care is changing, while also seeing the research being carried out in different fields, drugs and conditions which they may be interested in #PUNC19

Making sure they don't breach patient confidentiality and that everything they post is suitable and won't tarnish the profession, which could cause them to lose their job. Making sure the facts they post are credible and aren't fearmongering #PUNC19

It has the potential to be an online GP service while also sharing results cross culturally which could help create better care or drugs/cures for illnesses in the future #PUNC19

Just read the article by Ferguson and I agree that some of the more experienced nurses do fear social media but teaching the student nurses how to use social media may encourage them to try as they form a relationship with their students. And 30hours is too little to be true

The perception of a healthy body is so twisted its disturbing. This may be different to insta but this is natural lighting and a natural angle. Every body is a bikini body; better get used to it because we all look like this.
