Painting in the Winter. Im sure more sensible folk would advise against it but here we go chasing down the last ounce of daylight priming one heck of a big canvas for some brightly coloured fun. Hope to put my money where my mouth is on my pattern scaling abilities this week.

Next day on the big paint. I decide to go freehand with the layout and we add the first layers of colour, with the help of some fab volunteers of course LATERAL NORTH

This mornings view before the weather broke. 1m high letters along 12 meters of shipping container roof - to be viewed from the passing double deckers - hand drawn and painted over a few busy hours. #alwayshandpaint

Our first planting dates are finally here! Next week we are hosting two days of tree planting in Dumfries, across The Crichton and NHS Mountainhall sites planting a total of nearly 100 trees. Full information in the poster attached:
