Week three of working as a Library Assistant, and being surrounded by A) books and B) lovely staff is definitely a boon to my mental health. πŸ’› (Lots of pub. libraries are offering services during lockdown! Give us work, we want to help!)

I have been working in a public library for just over a month now - and learning about the number of vital services that library workers support has been incredibly eye-opening. Often, it's a lot more about people than it is about books.

Catching up on Books for Keeps articles with a cuppa this morning. Love the latest pieces on Helen Bate's 'The Lost Child of Chernobyl' & Kristabelle Williams' insight into school libraries in lockdown. πŸ“š
