Selling federal land for $10billion to address the national debt is like selling the family cat for $28 because I have $100,000 in student loan debt and 'every little bit helps!' while meanwhile the Big Beautiful Bill is putting another $10k on my credit card.

Isn’t there a story in the Bible about selling off your birthright for a bowl of soup? Isn’t this a cautionary tale?

Khaleesi ✨ WIRED I’m 100% against paid surrogacy & believe it should be illegal, just like paid organ transplants. We don’t let people sell a kidney, we shouldn’t let them sell their womb, it’s too risky that it becomes exploitative & harmful.

I hope articles like this lead to public calls to ban paid surrogacy. It’s just as exploitative as paid organ donation & needs to be stopped in the public interest.

So much of the way I build relational safety is to say “You have reasons to be angry and you’re allowed to be angry.”And the challenge is to then help someone decide how to process & channel that anger in ways that brings healing & good change versus self destruction.
