Love this very clever @greengroundmap of #Bristol by @HelenIlus , connecting the city's many green spaces via Bristol24/7: bristol247.com/news-and-featuβ¦
On BBC Radio 4 now: a programme not just about #Bristol but about #TroopersHill, right on my doorstep. Lovely little reflection about the outdoors close to home discovered during lockdown by #MichaelMalay.
Early morning bike ride with five women (IRL! so exciting!) AND Hart's Bakery pastry AND #PopDay on BBC Radio 6 Music are just making me so happy this morning π΄ββοΈπ΄ββοΈπ΄ββοΈπ΄ββοΈπ΄ββοΈπ΄ββοΈππΊππ
Sunny Saturday spins in good company courtesy of rider-organised rides: Jerry Tate @tateharmer explored Hertfordshire while pedEllers Kate G πΊπ¦ & Helen toured Wiltshire. We have plenty of rides coming up - youβll need to be logged in to view them all: clubpeloton.org/events/
Day 1 on the Knight Frank @clubpeloton #cycletomipim from Herne Hill Velodrome to the Chunnel (+ Calais). This year we ride in memory of "man mountain" Will Monk and were joined by his family on today's 120km stage, with son George riding all the way. What a legend. #forwill
Day 2 on the Knight Frank @clubpeloton #CycletoMipim. That headwind continues to beat us up, but the sun is out and everyone is still smiling and working hard to raise vital funds for charity.
Day Two in three words: sunny, windy, long. Well done to all the Knight Frank #CycletoMIPIM cyclists yesterday for a huge day in the saddle from Calais to Soissons fundraising for our amazing projects. Read the day 2 report and see the pics here: clubpeloton.org/news/694912
I'm not going to lie. On stage 3 of today's Knight Frank Club Peloton #cycletomipim I had a complete sense of humour failure. That bloody wind! But then you remember why you're doing this and how you should count yourself lucky that your biggest struggle in life is a headwind.
