This week I had the privilege to attend and present at the Royal Society of Chemistry and Institute of Physics National Conference for Science Technicians in London. I presented on the Visibility of the School Technician Workforce, its relevance, perceived barriers and potential solutions.

We did a thing! Miss Traynor - @misstraynorchem.bsky.social and Fraser J. Scott and I looked at when the Advanced Higher Project came back into Scottish Schools post-COVID, and whether they could resource it. Stark finding: over half of teachers reported asking pupils to buy reagents. degruyter.com/document/doi/1…
